Gressingham Foods

Gressingham Duck is a cross between the Wild Mallard and Pekin variety. Its breed means that a Gressingham Duck breast contains approximately 20% more meat than other ducks of the same size. All Gressingham Ducks are dry plucked to retain a more natural appearance and prevent shrinkage when cooking.

Telmara Farm

Established in 1978, all ducks are grown on Telmara's own farms in naturally ventilated sheds and provided daily with fresh straw obtained from local farmers. They are fed a cereal based pelleted ration, sourced from a reputable East Anglian supplier.

Cherry Valley

Fresh Ducks have been reared on Freedom Food approved farms in Lincolnshire and Yorkshire to strict RSPCA welfare standards. The ducks have access to a veranda system which gives them natural daylight and fresh air whilst being protected from outside predators. They have pools of water for bathing and preening whilst inside their is a freshly strawed resting area. The result is succulent and superior tasting and textured meat.
